Personal trainer group classes at Princes Park

Exercising in a group is an excellent way to work on your fitness while having fun! As an experienced personal trainer, I focus on creating an exciting, judgment-free atmosphere for every single person in the group. No matter who you are, you have a place in my group fitness classes!

I can adapt my group exercise sessions to various fitness levels, and help each person achieve their personal fitness goals. I believe that the social aspects of group fitness classes are just as important as the physical aspect, and it’s truly one of the best ways to stay motivated through your fitness journey.

 Why join group classes

  • Access to professional guidance: As a certified and experienced personal trainer for over 18 years, I focus on workouts that really show results and keep you active!

  • Social connection: Even in our interconnected world, there are many of us who feel more and more isolated. Connecting with others is a fantastic way to combat feelings of disconnect and isolation!

  • Open to all abilities: It doesn’t matter where you are in your fitness journey, you are welcome to my group classes! I make sure my exercises can be adapted to all abilities, and I’ll work with you to find what works best for you.

  • Keeps you accountable: It can be tough to stay motivated when it comes to exercise, but being in a group setting can help you stay focused! The feeling of camaraderie reminds you that you’re not alone, and we can all encourage each other throughout the process.

  • Fun environment: It’s my mission in life to make fitness fun! My group fitness sessions are always a good time - I’ve had clients tell me that it felt more like a party than a workout. That’s the ultimate compliment for me!

  • Motivating atmosphere: When you’re in my group fitness classes, you are entering a 100% judgment-free zone. What you wear, who you date, where you’re from, and how long you’ve been on earth...none of that matters. We keep it positive and accepting, always!

  • Appropriate for all ages: Everyone can benefit from exercise. Whether you’re 8 or 80, staying active will help you feel better physically, emotionally, and mentally, especially when you’re doing it in a group setting.

  • Access a variety of exercise: When it comes to exercise, I firmly believe that part of keeping it fun is to mix things up! There are so many workouts out there, so why not try them all out?

  • Perfect your form: One of the quickest ways to stop you in your tracks during your fitness journey is injury. As a certified personal trainer, I can help you keep perfect form to avoid strain and potential injury.

Plenty of options. Made for you.

Personal trainer for seniors

As I’ve mentioned before, I truly believe exercise should be accessible to all ages. I’ve been a personal trainer for folks over 50, and have seen how life-changing this physical activity can be. Retirees and empty nesters also frequently suffer from feelings of loneliness, so the physical aspect of group fitness classes can do wonders to mitigate that.

Being a personal trainer for older people requires adapting to different fitness levels and health issues, and I’ve been very lucky to have the education and experience to manage this. I can help you create a plan for yourself or a loved one that will keep them active and healthy.

More importantly, I can help you stay focused on your overall well-being and avoid an unhealthy sedentary life that can lead to multiple health problems in the years to come.

Personal trainer for two

If you’d rather keep your group really small, I can work with that too! I’ve had couples who want to work out together, or two close friends even. You can still benefit from all the perks of exercising in a group setting, such as keeping each other accountable, having fun together, and accessing a variety of exercises, even as a duo!

Family personal trainer

Getting fit as a family is a wonderful way to instill confidence and connection within young children! I love working with families to get everyone active and moving together, and consider it an honour to introduce the younger generation to the importance of fitness.

Personal trainer for weight loss

Struggling with weight loss? I can help you create a fitness plan that is tailored towards burning calories and building muscle mass to burn off that access weight. Sharing this experience with a group, particularly one that has the same goal, will help you stay motivated and positive too!

“I love training outdoors and the opportunity to get out in nature before the work day starts. Kate brings a great energy to her classes. She is always working to improve her knowledge to help members get the most out of their health and fitness goals. All the trainers keep the classes varied and interesting, and provide a supportive environment that encourages people of all fitness levels.”

I run group and individuals classes at Princess Park. Great for nearby areas, including Brunswick, Coburg, Coburg North, Fawkner, Glenroy, Gowanbrae, Hadfield, Oak Park, Pascoe Vale, Carlton North, and other northern Melbourne suburbs.

“I love training in the park with Kate and the group. The sessions have a great structure and I like that Kate takes the time to clearly explain and demonstrate each exercise, watches the whole group and provides encouragement and constructive feedback and is friendly, motivating and entertaining.”
